Lea is a fantastic trainer with a great ability to adapt trainings to suit every dog. Her lessons provide a great foundation for every dog in an agility journey. She gives great feedback, encouragement and homework to help produce a really strong skill set needed for every agility dog and handler. I highly recommend it.

Over the past summer I took Lea Komat's seesaw course with my young border collie. I loved the on-line classroom format in which the lessons were taught and the progress my dog made from start to finish. I began the course at the end of June and had a fully independent teeter with all the different handling by the beginning of September. Lea was very quick to respond to all my videos, often within the same day, and gave excellent feedback, helping with troubleshooting and explaining how to progress each step. She was positive and supportive in all of her comments and very vested in our progress. We did her 2o2o method which was super easy to follow. Each lesson had good written material and supportive videos, and we progressed through each step with no complications and no fear of the seesaw. I loved that I had access to the material well after the course had finished. I have recommended this course to several friends and take it with my next puppy. Lea was a joy to work with!

I took the weaves class with Lea and it was one of the best online class I ever registered! My dog already knew how to weave but we were missing something to make them truly rock solid. Lea adapted so well to our team, helping us for good collection into the weaves, plenty of entry, discrimination and good weaves exit ! Bonus point she gives awesome advice on how to be cleaner when handling the weaves ! I can't not recommend her.

Agility Foundation is an online course where there are not only the skill settings that agility dogs must have, but it is a course full of exercises, more or less difficult sequences and ideas on which to work and improve our handling skills. Lea is an excellent teacher, precise, clear and patient. She pays attention to details and the well being of dogs. The results are visible in a short time thanks to it's clear, simple and detailed explanations. She always answers to everything and quickly. She pays attention to detail and doesn't miss anything. Lea is the top and the course too! My best choice! I recommend them both for sure!

I trained my dogs Gas and Arya with Lea since the beginning. It’s incredible how she can brought the best of both and add challenges in every training. She was the only one who could take us to “another level”. For me the best trainer ever!

Lea already wrote in her presentation that her full-time job is to work with children with special needs. Perhaps that's why she gets best results with agility tandems that deviate a little from the average: whether we are dealing with non-working breed or a stressed handler. She gets the best out of every tandem and suddenly anything becomes possible. The training sessions always take place in a pleasant environment, and her explanations are understandable and precise. After finishing training, you always have an idea of what the next steps will be. Most important, you always finish the training in a good, positive mood.

One thing I can confidently say about Lea is that she is a truly one-of-a-kind instructor. I was on the verge of giving up on agility altogether, but I decided to wait for her classes to reopen. After just the first lesson, it was obvious that she had a unique ability to make agility both logical and fun for me. I found myself wanting to keep coming back—not just to train, but also to observe other teams and learn from her teaching. Lea has a remarkable sense for pinpointing why a handler and dog might not be “speaking the same language” on the course. She brings a special, motherly energy that warms your heart and makes you feel supported. She never gives up on you, no matter the challenge, and she’s always there to help you move forward. I truly believe that teams lucky enough to work with her have found something special. With the availability of online classes, her expertise is now accessible to everyone. And if you’re fortunate enough to attend one of her seminars, you’ll discover how she can clarify things you hadn’t even considered during training. Oh, and be prepared—she’ll make you run, haha! With Lea, there’s no such thing as giving up or saying, “I can’t.” She’ll help you find a way.

Lea is an energetic, warmhearted, gentle and fun person which really shows on her live and online courses. I'm so lucky that she trained me on her live courses, because she has a lot of knowledge, listens to you and adjusts training so that it suits best for you and your dog – and she did that perfectly for Bounty and Poncho. She always searches for solutions if there is an obstacle and never says it can't be done or your dog can't do it. I also bought all of her online courses and would highly recommend them to every agility handler. The courses are the right length, step-by-step instructions are understandable and videos show exactly what you need to do. As I met Lea the first time in Slovenia for a seminar I was grateful right after the first minute. Never saw a trainer, who trains dogs, no matter what type it is (slow, fast, outgoing or not) right from the start. She helped me with my crazy driving Groenendael as well as my soft and special Sheltiegirl. And me too, by showing me how much I could and how much my dogs could. I remember one of our first dialogues. "I know, I have to trust my dog more." And Lea said to me: ''No, you have to trust more in yourself.'' And the game started . Keeping things simple but effective, searching for low risks of failures make the training fun for the human as well as for the dog. No one wants to go home feeling bad about failures. Lea has a great understanding of both dogs and people and can spot the smallest of things to help improve performance or problem solve. She adapts to the individual dog and handler in front of her. She is undoubtedly one of the best trainers out there. I always leave her training sessions with lots of homework and a thirst to train with her again.

I think I met Lea at an internship in 2017. I liked her immediately. I have never found someone so humble and special with dogs and people, like her. I will recommend her endlessly and I hope to be able to work with her again soon.

I absolutely love Lea’s training approach. While most focus on the dog, I feel like she focused on us both and really taught me how I can be better in agility so that me and my dog could become a great team. I learned about timing, how to move my body, where to run, where to look, when to open up my shoulders, where to hold my hand, how to see lines, and more. While teaching me all of that she also focused on my dog and taught him different verbal and “physical” cues, how to discriminate between obstacles, how to come closer to me when needed, how to move further away from me when needed, how to adjust his speed, she also taught us precision, she taught us to stick to our criteria, and that’s only scratching the surface. She gave me and my dog the best introduction to get into this sport and I feel 10x wiser thanks to her training and knowledge. Plus, to top it all off she always made us feel like the sky is the limit so our aspirations and goals only grew with that. Besides the knowledge, I feel privileged to have a trainer who believes in us and is there to support our goals and aspirations. If you are thinking of joining her online classes or in person seminars I would warmly recommend you do so…yesterday. Her depth of knowledge and willingness to share it all, openly, with her students is well worth it and I am sure every one of you could benefit.

I worked with Lea on training both of my Border Collies, Zest and Hooli, and her support and feedback have made a huge difference in improving my handling and our teamwork. What I really appreciate about Lea is her ability to understand each dog's unique needs and bring out their best. She doesn’t just give general advice; she tailors her feedback to what each dog needs to succeed. Lea’s approach is positive but direct, and she breaks down exactly where I need to adjust my handling to help my dogs run courses more smoothly and faster.
